Villa Löhö was finished in September 2026. It is brand new — nobody has lived a winter in it yet — and it stands at the end of a dead-end road on its own plot at the forest edge. The building is mirrored down the middle: two cabins, two front doors, two private saunas, a jacuzzi on each deck.
Nothing here is a compromise on materials. Thermo-aspen in the sauna, a ceramic worktop and integrated appliances in the kitchen, large-format stone tile in the wet rooms, timber walls and ceilings throughout. The furniture was chosen by an interior designer, not bought in a hurry.
The jacuzzi on the deck is kept warm all year, so it is ready the moment you are.
Each side has three bedrooms over two floors, a two-car carport with an electric car charger, and 3.6 kilometres of road between it and Levi centre.
Take one side for your group. Take both if there are more of you. The halves share a wall and the yard and nothing else.
The name comes from löhöillä — the Finnish verb for lounging at length with no particular plan. That is more or less the brief.
Three bedrooms sleep six; the upper landing takes a double bed for two more. Book both sides for up to sixteen.
Four seasons
Lapland has more than winter and summer. Each season has its own reason to come, and its own pace once you are here.
Winter · Dec–Mar
Snow arrives early and stays. Ski days on Levi's slopes, cross-country tracks through the forest, and long dark evenings between the sauna and the jacuzzi. The Northern Lights are never guaranteed — the quiet sky is.
Spring · Mar–Apr
Nights freeze, days are bright, and the snow hardens into hanki — crust snow firm enough to walk or ski across in any direction. Bring sunglasses. The deck becomes usable again.
Autumn · Sep–Oct
For a few weeks the fells turn red, copper and gold. The air is cold and clear, the trails are empty, and the first Northern Lights of the season appear over dark ground.
Summer · Jun–Aug
The sun does not set for weeks. Hike the fells at ten in the evening, pick berries in July, and heat the sauna at midnight because it is still light enough to sit outside afterwards.
Newly built
Villa Löhö is new, so there are no guest reviews yet and we are not going to invent any. Here is where things stand instead.
Handed over in September 2026: class A energy rating, ground-source heating, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Everything in it is new — the building, the beds, the pans, the towels.

The first winter season is open for booking. You would be among the first guests the cabin has had.
Availability
Availability for both sides of the building is live in the booking system. Choose your dates, take one cabin or both, and book. A group of sixteen takes the whole building in one booking.
