How a stay here works
A short, honest page: who the cabins suit, what we ask of guests, and what is included. Read it before you book and there will be no surprises on either side.
One side or both
Two cabins, booked separately
Each side is a complete cabin: its own entrance, kitchen, sauna, jacuzzi, half of the deck and a two-car carport with an electric car charger. Most groups book one.
If there are more of you, book both and take the whole building. It is the easiest way to give two families their own space without splitting the group across the village.
When both sides are let to different guests, you are sharing a wall and a yard with people you have not met. It is a quiet building and we keep it that way — see the house rules below.
Who it suits
Eight a side, sixteen in the building
Villa Löhö works for groups who want space and quiet. It is not a party cabin, and it is not trying to be.
Families
The master bedroom is on the ground floor and the two twin rooms are upstairs, so children can sleep early while the adults stay up. The upper landing takes a double bed for two more, and the sofa beside it opens out if someone wants a space of their own.
Two couples
Two separate WCs, a washroom with two rain showers, a sauna and a jacuzzi that is always warm, and enough living space that nobody feels obliged to be sociable at breakfast. The sauna evening tends to be the fixed point of the day.
A larger group, both sides
Book the whole building and you get two kitchens, two saunas, two jacuzzis and four parking spaces under cover. Groups usually cook in one side and use the other for sleeping and quiet.
House rules
A few things we ask
Nothing unusual. Most of it is about keeping the building quiet, warm and safe.
Noise
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00
- The wall between the two cabins is shared — sound carries
- Keep the jacuzzi calm after 22:00; it sits close to the other deck
Sauna
- Throw water on the stones, not on the walls, glass or floor
- Sit on a towel and keep glass off the benches
- Switch the heater off when you are finished
- Do not dry clothes on the heater
Jacuzzi
- Always warm — nothing to switch on or book
- Shower before you get in. Every time, no exceptions
- Put the cover back on afterwards — it keeps the heat and the snow out
- No glass on the deck
- Children in the water only with an adult
Pets
- No pets, in either cabin
- This one is not negotiable — please do not ask
- Assistance dogs are a different matter; talk to us
Smoking
- Outdoors only, including e-cigarettes
- Use the ashtray, not the stone bed or the deck
Everyday
- Shoes off at the door — Finnish habit, and practical in snow
- Maximum eight guests a side — a firm limit, not a guideline
- Sort recycling into the bins provided
- Tell us about any breakage; accidents happen

The things people ask first
Short answers to what comes up most.
How many people does Villa Löhö sleep?
Each cabin sleeps up to eight, and eight is a firm limit. There is a master bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor, two twin rooms upstairs, and a 140 cm double bed on the upper landing. The sofa beside it also opens into a bed if someone wants to sleep apart. Book both cabins and the building takes sixteen.
How far is Villa Löhö from the Levi ski slopes?
The Levi Black slope is 2.2 km away, about five minutes by car, and Zero Point is 3.7 km. A cross-country ski track passes 400 metres from the door, so in good conditions you can put skis on at the cabin.
How far is it from Kittilä Airport?
12.4 km, about fifteen minutes by car. Levi centre and its shops and restaurants are 3.6 km away. Rovaniemi is roughly 170 km, a two-and-a-quarter-hour drive.
Is there a sauna?
Yes. Each cabin has its own electric sauna with thermo-aspen benches and a window at bench height, behind a full glass wall. Next to it is a washroom with two rain showers.
Is the jacuzzi always available?
Yes. The outdoor jacuzzi on your half of the deck is kept warm at all times, so there is nothing to switch on or arrange in advance. Showering before you get in is required, every time.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed in either cabin. Assistance dogs are a separate matter.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. The cabin has an optical fibre connection and strong Wi-Fi in every room, including the upper floor.
Can I charge an electric car?
Yes. Each cabin has a two-car carport with its own charging point — a DEFA Power unit, 11 kW, Type 2, with a fixed six-metre cable.
Is there a fireplace?
No. Heating is a ground-source heat pump feeding water-circulated underfloor heating, and the building has a class A energy rating. There is a chimney and a hearth provision, but no fireplace is fitted.
How new is the cabin?
It was completed in September 2026 and furnished the same autumn. The architecture is by Saika Design and the interiors by SarahK Visuals. Nothing in it has been through a winter yet.
Do we need a car?
In practice, yes. The ski track is walkable at 400 metres, but the slopes, the shops and the restaurants all need a short drive, and winter darkness makes walking along the road a poor idea.
Can we book both sides of the building?
Yes. The two cabins are let separately, and larger groups take both. They share only a wall and the gravel yard — separate entrances, kitchens, saunas, jacuzzis and carports.
Practical
Arriving and leaving
Check-in from 16:00. Check-out by 11:00. Self check-in with a door code sent a few days before you travel.
A late flight is not a problem — the code works whatever time you land, and the entrance light is on a timer. The jacuzzi is warm whenever you get here, at four in the afternoon or at midnight.
Booking
Availability for both sides is live in our booking system, and you book your dates there. One cabin or both.
Both cabins appear in the same system, so a group of sixteen books the whole building in one go.
